Request a child seat when you book. On XQ Car the add-on is RM30 per booking in current pricing (checked 2026-07-23) — not a per-day fee — and availability is limited, so peak holiday weeks sell out.
Seat types we try to cover
- Rear-facing infant (roughly 0–13 kg)
- Forward-facing toddler (roughly 9–18 kg)
- Booster (roughly 15–36 kg)
Tell us the child’s age and weight at booking so we stage the right seat before LGK Door 3, Kuah Jetty, or hotel handover. You remain responsible for correct use once driving.
Safety note
Use an appropriate restraint for children. Malaysian practice expects proper child restraints for young travellers; hill roads and sudden rain are not the place to improvise with a lap belt alone.
Pairing seats with the right car
